Will Google mind?
No. Asking is allowed. Google says so in its own help pages, in plain words.
What is not allowed is paying for reviews, or hiding the unhappy ones. The Fylo stand does neither. Every customer who taps goes to the same place: your Google review page. Nobody is filtered out on the way.

A rough guide for your shop
Say you place 3 stands and about 15 customers a week tap or scan. If just 1 in 4 leaves a review, that is around 15 new reviews a month. An estimate, not a promise, but it shows how fast a small habit adds up.
Questions before you buy.
Do my customers need to download an app?
No. Tapping opens their normal phone browser, straight on your Google review page. There is nothing to install and nothing to sign up for.
Does it work on iPhone and Android?
Tapping works on modern iPhones and on Android phones that have NFC turned on. On some Android phones NFC is switched off by default, and the phone usually needs to be unlocked.
That is why every stand and card also carries a printed QR code. If a phone will not tap, the camera will scan. Between the two, every phone can get there.
Does my customer need a Google account?
Yes. Google reviews are posted from a Google account. Most people are already signed in on their phone, which is why the whole thing takes about five seconds.
Is there a monthly fee?
Not for the stand or the card. You pay once and you own it. Fylo also sells a separate Review System subscription that sends review requests automatically after a paid invoice, but you do not need it to use a stand.
Will Google penalise me for using one?
No. Google's own help page says you can ask customers to visit a Google link or scan a QR code.
What Google does not allow is offering rewards for reviews, or steering unhappy customers away. The stand does neither. Everyone who taps goes to the same review page.
